Responsible for ensuring that the controls on a particular machine or process line are set up correctly. They also set and change mould tools and dies into the processing equipment.

Process Chemist
The process chemist integrates synthetic organic chemistry with chemical engineering to devise economically viable methods to commercially manufacture new drug compounds.

Process Development Chemist
The Process Development Chemist models production process chemistry in the laboratory to investigate and improve commercial production characteristics.

Process Engineer (Chemical Engineer)
The Process Engineer (also known as a Chemical Engineer) designs, implements, improves and controls the manufacturing process for manufacture of medicinal products.

Process Operator
Works in a plant controlling equipment and processes to meet production targets. They spot variances from normal processing conditions, deciding upon and implementing corrective actions for problems.

Process Operator
Performs a variety of tasks such as operating machines to construction, assembly and finishing of component parts and finished products, including production of items made on machines or by hand.

Process Operator Apprenticeship
Undertakes the duties of the skilled Process Operator in the chemical industry whilst learning the required practical skills and underpinning knowledge as an apprentice.

Ensures that the processing operations of the company are operating with full effectiveness. They apply proven techniques and procedures to solve processing problems and improve operations.

Product Design Technician
Uses a combination of design skill and technical knowledge to design polymer-based products that are easier to use, more efficient, cheaper to produce or have improved aesthetics.

Product Manager
The Pharmaceutical Product Manager is involved all activities (marketing plan and activities) which lead to successful launch and commercialization of a pharmaceutical product.

Product Stream Director
The Product Stream Director has overall responsibility for introducing pharmaceutical products to the market and is responsible for the entire manufacturing operation for a particular product stream.

Production Manager
Responsible for ensuring that all resources needed for the manufacture of polymer products are used efficiently to achieve the right quality, quantity and cost, and that they are produced on time.

Production Operations Manager
The Production Operations Manager in a pharmaceuticals plant is responsible for the entire production operation, making sure that production targets are reached and high-quality products are delivered on time and within budget.

Production Operator - Primary
The Production Operators (primary) works in the factory, operating and controlling the equipment that manufactures the active pharmaceutical ingredients.

Production Operator - Secondary
The Production Operator (Secondary) operates and controls the equipment involved in secondary manufacture of pharmaceutical products (tabletting, encapsulating, filling, packing, and labelling, etc., of the medicinal product before it can be sold.

Production Supervisor
Manages the production resources, people, machines and materials, for a sub-section of the company’s operation. This may be a production line or a manufacturing cell.
